Propaganda & Pressure: Selling the Big Lie to the Public

The key to controlling another being is actually their own agreement.

The key to maintaining control of an entire society therefore is dependent upon maintaining societal agreement, and this is one of the key roles now played by money.

In truth, the digits on a computer screen, on a quarterly statement, or on an official note issued by a governmental agency with pretty ink and flowery borders, have only as much value as we agree to grant them. Without our continuous agreement to grant them value, they are nothing but empty pixels or fancy pieces of paper.

In their continuous quest to control and dominate all other beings, the enslavers among us have gone to enormous lengths to obtain and keep our agreement, for without it, they know that they are actually powerless to control us...

thrall - 1. a person who is in bondage; bondman; slave.
2. a person who is completely dominated by some power over his mind.

In days of old the spear and whip were the common method of obtaining agreement from another person; later, it became fear of eternal damnation which is still employed to some degree today; but this has now evolved into economic threat and loss as the "modern" method of control.

Brute force, pain and torture are still sanctioned and used, but it is now done secretly, out-of-sight in secret prisons and "interrogation" centers lest the rest of the populace realize how truly brutal and savage the modern state really is, and suddenly confront the truth of the situation.

The international bankers presently tightening the noose on what is left of the United States of America, are continuing their push to drive it further down into financial enslavement, past the point of recovery. Many of those in Washington are playing their dutiful part in helping the bankers drive the final nails in the coffin of this country, while a few brave voices, bolstered by wide popular support, still hold their ground.

So it is the popular support which must be attacked and turned in order to proceed with their plans, and this is where the media come into play, disseminating the carefully-crafted propaganda and generating fear. Fear of loss – economic loss – is the whip which is now used to drive the masses into compliance.

(CBS News) WASHINGTON - It was a striking thing today to see the President of the United States say that he cannot guarantee the 27 million Social Security checks that are due to be mailed on August 3rd.

[VIDEO: Obama "cannot guarantee" Social Security checks]

August 3rd is the day after the U.S. government will default on its debts if Democrats and Republicans do not agree to increase the nation's borrowing limit. Both sides say they won't raise the limit without a deal to massively cut the federal deficit. A U.S. default could shake the world economy. The stakes couldn't be higher. Time is growing short...

Poll: Support for debt ceiling increase doubles

"Americans are now roughly split on raising the debt ceiling, a new CBS News poll shows, with support for an increase nearly doubling since last month.

The spike in support for an increase follows dire warnings from the Obama administration..."

If one were to listen only to the evening news, and the propaganda they disseminate, one might actually be convinced that "raising" the debt ceiling was the only possible solution...   but then again, that's the entire purpose of propaganda isn't it?

propaganda - 1. information or ideas methodically spread to promote or injure a cause, group, nation, etc.   2. the deliberate spreading of such information or ideas.   3. the doctrines or principles propagated by an organization or movement.

True to the principles of Orwellian "double-think", "raising the ceiling" sounds like something good and beneficial, like "raising the bar", and "raising standards". The truth however is something entirely different.

Debt is a form of indenturement – enslavement, to put it more bluntly, and what they are really trying to do is lower the bottom – lower than it already is.

But let's skip back a bit now and review some historical data relevant to this situation before coming back full-circle and reviewing some very recent testimony given on Capitol Hill...
